When Persistence Pays Off
A vast array of weather conditions truly kept us guessing today, but the uncertainty failed to dampen our spirits! After a blustery morning, fresh midday snowfall and afternoon sunshine combined into a magical mix that invoked declarations like, “Whooo Hoo” and “That was ******* awesome!”.
These smooth and creamy turns were made on the “Pleasuredome” even BEFORE the fresh afternoon snow.
Storm clouds and gray skies battled it out all day, revealing occasional views of the beautiful mountain scenery.

Looking good off-trail was challenging most of the day, except for this free heeler and his fellow (and sister) skiers near Beeline.
As stormy as it was during parts of the day, other times, you could see all the way past New Meadows into Oregon’s Wallowas. This weekend’s weather forecast calls for far less drama, for better or worse.
