What's New for Winter 2019-2020

11/01/19
New equipment for backcountry adventures and new perks for season passholders are among the most exciting changes at Brundage Mountain Resort this winter.

New Snowcat and Sleds for Backcountry Thrills

Brundage Mountain Snowcat Adventures has been guiding skiers and boarders into the powdery backcountry of the Payette National Forest for nearly three decades. This year, the operation is adding an additional snowcat to its fleet. This 12-passenger SnowCat adds a layer of reliability to the program. One SnowCat will remain ‘on standby’ in case the other machines have mechanical issues.

Brundage Snowmobile Adventures offers guided snowmobile trips into the Payette backcountry. This year, the program will be riding on 16 brand new Polaris snowmobiles. Models include the 800 and 600 Pro-RMK 155 and the 600 Voyager 144. In addition to guided trips, Brundage Snowmobile Adventures offers rentals for those with experience in backcountry sledding.

“We have one of the best SnowCat programs in North America and this additional backcountry SnowCat helps ensure more great powder days for our most passionate skiers and riders,” said General Manager, Ken Rider. “Our guided Snowmobile program is growing in popularity and the upgraded and expanded fleet will allow us to get more people out experiencing the beauty of the backcountry.”

Passport to Powder Passholder Perks

Brundage Mountain Season Passes now include 74 days of free skiing at 24 partner resorts across 11 western states and even Japan! Mt. Hood Meadows in Oregon and Idaho’s Soldier Mountain are among the newest partners, each offering three days of free skiing to Brundage passholders. Other partner resorts span Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California and Colorado. And for those who’ve been dreaming of the classic ‘Japanuary’ powder, there are SEVEN DAYS of free skiing at Kiroro. These free tickets are included with Brundage Season Passes at no extra charge. www.brundage.com/perks.

SNOWledge Mobile App

We’re excited to announce that Snowledge is now the official app of Brundage Mountain. Use GPS to get real-time resort info, track your day on the slopes, and easily find and locate your friends and family. The Snowledge App requires no mobile data usage – and – it’s free! Learn more.

Introducing: The Indy Pass

Brundage Mountain is proud to be among the founding members of the new Indy Pass. This affordable pass includes two free lift tickets to EACH of 44 resorts, totaling in 88 days of skiing and riding. It’s the best multi-resort pass value on the planet. Indy Pass resorts are independently owned and offer an authentic, uncrowded mountain experience, where the powder isn’t tracked out by 10 am and kids are comfortable riding on their own. The Indy Pass is on sale to the public for $199. Learn more.

Season Long Ski Packages for Kids

Get your kids geared up for the season and only hit the rental shop once! The Fall Line Shop is offering season-long ski packages for kids five feet and under for just $89 for skis, boots and poles. Fit, tech and maintenance work is included for the season.

A Clear Shot on Hot Shot

For those tracking the ongoing brush cutting and thinning across the mountain, this year’s focus areas are Hot Shot, Lower Kickback, Stump, Race Course and the lower reaches of NW Passage, among others. Cutting and thinning the brush and trees allows for better conditions early season and more wide open lines on those epic powder days.
