What's New for Winter 2018-19

10/22/18

The 2018-19 winter season is fast approaching and the team at Brundage Mountain Resort is hard at work making improvements for guests both on and off the slopes.

Investing in the Best Snow in Idaho

Skiers and riders will be treated to smooth lines thanks to two new PistenBully 400 Grooming Cats. PistenBully’s AlpineFlexTiller lays down the tight, velvety corduroy that Brundage Mountain is known for, and these snowcats are rated at the highest level – Tier 4 – for their low emissions.

Those who like the venture off-trail will appreciate the brush cutting projects that have been completed under the lift lines and on other popular trails. The Bluebird Express lift line, Ranger Trail, Centennial Lift Line, Skid Row, Badger, Griz and parts of North, to name a few, have been tightly trimmed for early season action.

Introducing: Beartopia

Brundage Mountain is boosting the fun factor of learning to ski and snowboard with the new Beartopia Family Fun Zone. Pick up a Beartopia map to use as a fun-filled guide through this 100+ acre learning environment. Lift tickets are FREE on the Easy Rider Conveyor and Easy Street Triple all season long.

Bear Chair riders will have extra opportunity to grab a snack or a meal at the Bear’s Den this season. This mid-mountain restaurant will be open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays starting December 21.

Gear Up with the Latest Ski & Board Technology

The Fall Line Shop has a shiny new demo fleet that is sure to bring your alpine game to the next level. With more than 150 pairs of high-performance skis and 50+ snowboards, the gear gurus in the shop can help you find the perfect boards to make you feel like a hero in any conditions.

Kids who rent skis through the Brundage Kids Center Ski + Ride programs will be treated to a brand new fleet of skis and boots from Elan.

Restroom Remodel

A highly-anticipated renovation to the men’s room in the main lodge is now complete. Upgrades include new plumbing, walls, stalls, fixtures and flooring. On the slopes, guests will find a new two-stall log bathroom on top of the Bear Chair and a one-stall log unit at the top of the Lakeview lift.
