The Runs Less Traveled

Fresh snow and good friends always make for good times on the slopes. We got 2″ of fresh snow yesterday afternoon and another 3″ + overnight. (1-3″ more possible today).
The snow had a less-powdery consistency than what we’re used to here at Brundage, but as you can see in these photos, it was sweet, creamy goodness nevertheless.
On days like this, everyone is looking for the ‘fresh lines’ off-trail. As a local, an employee and a ‘snow reporter’, people are always asking me to tell them where all the great stashes are. Naturally, when one finds something truly rare and beautiful in the world, one is reluctant to share it. Today, I am feeling generous, and will reveal exactly where each of these sweet lines was found and each of these photos taken…
These two photos with the tele-master in red are from upper Sunnyside.
The lovely lady in blue is also on Sunnyside, where it wasn’t sunny today.
The two photos below are from skiers left of the Pleasuredome.
So there you have it. Two ‘insider’ secrets revealed. Here’s a link to our trail map to help you track those down. Oh wait, those runs aren’t on the map. Sorry! I guess you’ll just have to find your own secret stashes. When you do, be sure to swing through Mexico and tell me where they are.
