Those of us who ski Brundage Mountain religiously have our own ideas of what we love so much about this special place. That said, it can be refreshing to view our favorite mountain from a fresh ‘outside’ perspective.

To that end, I share with you this letter from the LeBlanc Family of Minnesota, who just wrapped up their 6th visit to Brundage Mountain. Why travel so far to get here? Sometimes it’s the little things that make all the difference.

Hello Brundage Mountain!

The LeBlanc Family just returned home from 12 days (Feb 17-Mar 1) of some of the best skiing we have EVER had!

This year we extended our stay from years past and boy was it worth it….we had every kind of weather you could ask for to make for a perfect winter vacation……wind, cold, some clouds, bright blue sky, fresh snow daily and of course…the POWDER DUMP!!

Yes, we finally got two great powder days on this trip, and was that a treat! All the stories about powder days came true for this family!

Truly an experience that highlighted our entire trip!

Once again I want to express our thanks for all you hard working people at Brundage Mountain that make these ski trips so successful!

I want to personally say thank you to Betsy in the food service. She always had a smile on her face, friendly to my family and very caring when it came to finding our lost lunch bag which had my sons medications inside. Thanks Betsy!

To Scott, lift operations….what a job you do to make sure all the lifts and lift operators are functioning as a team! I witnessed Scott checking in with his lift operators on the Centenial Chair ensuring his crew had their breaks, and everything was going A-OK!! Good Job Scott!

To Wayne…the always smiling, always waving/thumbs up lift operator at the top of the Centennial chair. Always ensuring with a keen eye that all skiers got off safely. You are super Wayne! We even got a picture of Wayne with my daughter!

To Jared, Marketing Director, taking time out to come up and see us, and finally meet us face to face! We appreciate all you do to promote Brundage Mountain Jared, and believe me…we are telling our friends back in Minnesota who ski about this wonderful family ski resort!

I believe this our 6th year in a row coming out to Brundage…..and it just keeps getting better and better!

All the runs so smoothly groomed by your expert groomers, your ski patrol keeping a close eye on all the skiers to ensure a safe and enjoyable ski experience, and of course to the man who made my sons “kids pub burger/fries” each day….hats off to you! And of course to the person who makes your delicious chocolate brownies……a staple with each lunch!

I have once again sent you some pictures of our trip. These pictures really tell how this trip turned out……the smiles and grins pretty much say it all!

Of course….the ski jump pics of my son Luc on his favorite run…. “Rodeo”…always seem to steal the show!

Once again, thanks so much for making Brundage Mountain our favorite Idaho destination ski resort. We will see you again in 2012!
