Take a Free Shuttle to Brundage, Ski with Santa, and Light Up the Night for New Years Eve

12/23/23

Brundage Mountain Resort is launching into the holiday season with seven-day-a-week operations, expanded shuttle service, and holiday activities for the whole family.

Free McCall-to-Brundage Shuttle – Runs 7 Days a Week

Brundage is excited to announce an expansion of the free shuttle service between McCall and the ski resort. Brundage Mountain has partnered with the City of McCall and Mountain Community Transit to offer the shuttle service several days a week for the past several winters. This year, the Blue Line service will run daily, with stops at the McCall Post Office, McCall’s Downtown Transit Center, a bus shelter across Highway 55 from Shore Lodge, a stop at the Brundage Inn, and a stop at Brundage Mountain’s base area.

The shuttle runs six loops per day and has racks for skis, poles and snowboards. The service is free but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Blue Line Shuttle Info

Santa Skis Brundage – Monday, December 25

Ever wonder what Santa Claus does after a long night of delivering gifts to children across the globe? He skis the Best Snow in Idaho, of course! Santa will continue his tradition of visiting Brundage on Christmas Day. Santa has been spotted on the slopes of Brundage on a snowboard, downhill skis and telemark skis. Head up Christmas Day to see what gear he’ll be riding this year!

Light Up the Night – Sunday, December 31

It’s a holiday tradition the whole family can enjoy: Brundage Mountain is hosting its annual “Light Up the Night” Celebration on Sunday, December 31 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The party features a slope-side fireworks show that can be enjoyed from many vantage points around the base area. Young party-goers can sign up for the “Aglow on the Snow” glow stick parade, while experienced skiers and riders can participate in the annual Torchlight Parade. Space is limited for the parades, so early registration is recommended. Food and drink are available for purchase but the event itself is free.

Additional shuttle runs are being offered the night of the party. Check out the details here.

Last Call to Own a Piece of Centennial History

As the resort gets ready to open the brand new Centennial Express high-speed quad, it’s offering people one last chance to get their hands on one of the old triple chair carriers. Five of the chairs are being auctioned off online, with proceeds from the auction benefitting the new Brundage Mountain Community Fund. The fund was recently established to give the resort more avenues for raise funds and offer support to local non-profits and their efforts to create thriving communities in the West Central Mountains. The auction runs through noon on January 4, 2024. More info

Brundage Mountain opened seven-day-a-week operations on Saturday, December 16 with early season conditions. Guests are encouraged to check the snow and grooming reports for the latest updates on conditions and operations. Snow Report
