Save Time & Money with our Presidents Weekend Trip Planning Tips
02/07/16
The three-day weekend from February 13-15 is one of the best (and most popular) times to hit the slopes. We’ve got some helpful tips on how to navigate this busy time on the mountain, save a little money and ‘feel the love’ for Valentines Day. We hope these trip planning pointers will make your weekend extra enjoyable!
#1. Ditch your ride
Parking can be a challenge on busy weekends, and we’ve expanded our McCall-to-Brundage Shuttle service to help pick up the slack. You can park at the Brundage Adventure Center downtown and load your friends, family and all your gear on to our comfortable shuttle. It will drop you right at the front steps of the lodge and bring you back to town whenever you’re ready. Full details here.
#2. The Early Birds Get the Gear
If you need to rent ski or snowboard gear this holiday weekend, be sure to arrive early in the day to secure the best fit. Our rental and demo equipment is available on a first come, first served basis. The Fall Line Shop will open at 8:30 each day of the holiday weekend.
Insiders Tip: purchase multi-day rentals on the first day of your visit and you can hold on to that gear overnight (or stash it in one of our super affordable day lockers) and go straight to the slopes for the rest of your trip. Learn more.
#3. Feel the Love
We’re mixing up our ‘Second Sunday’ Season Pass holder bonus program this year. Sunday, February 14 is ‘We Love our Pass holders’ Day. Show your 15/16 season pass at our tent in the Plaza to pick up a free specialty t-shirt. Full details here.
#4. Plan on Some Apres Ski Romance
Snagging a last minute table on Valentines Day is never easy, especially in a cozy mountain town like McCall. Reserve a spot for our special Valentine’s Dinner at Smoky’s Bar & Grill and your sweetheart will think you are the master of romance. Reservations required. Full details here.
#5. Get Monday for FREE
Purchase your 2016/17 Winter Season pass on Monday, February 15 and you can ski Monday (and the rest of the season) for FREE. Full details of the early season pass sale are available here.
