Santa's Secrets for Shredding in Style
Looking to maximize your family fun time this holiday season?
We went straight to the top to get Santa’s suggestions for how to make the most of every moment this Winter Break.
The first step is obvious: make sure your plan includes the Best Snow in Idaho…
Then check out Santa’s Secrets for an extra good time:
#1.) Grab Lunch at the Bear’s Den or Upper Lot Pub
You might be surprised at the low-key atmosphere in the adults-only Upper Lot Pub and the kid-friendly Bear’s Den.
The Upper Lot Pub is in the SE corner of the third floor of the lodge, and features elevated pub fare and a sophisticated drink menu.
The Bear’s Den is the mid-mountain pit stop you don’t want to miss. Located at the top of the Bear Chair, this cozy cabin is open EVERY DAY of Winter Break.
Grab a hearty meatball sandwich, chicken & waffles or one of several new panini-style sandwiches. The Bear’s Den menu appeals to kids without leaving grown up taste buds out in the cold.
#2.) Up Your Game with Professional Coaching
Book Early to Secure a Lesson or Space in the Kids Club
Even seasoned skiers and riders can reach the next level with the help of a little professional coaching. The Brundage Ski + Ride School offers private coaching, customized private lessons (you and your friends or family) and group lessons. Book early for your best choice of times.
For the little rippers, the Brundage Mountain Kids Club offers half-day and full-day programs so the kids can build skills in a safe and fun environment while mom and dad enjoy some well-deserved grown up time.
#3.) Get Your Gear Tuned While You Sleep
Why wait around when you could be riding? Brundage Mountain’s Fall Line Tune Shop offers overnight waxing service.
Drop your gear off before closing and it will be waxed and ready before the lifts open.
Full tunes may take a wee bit longer, but can usually be completed overnight, too. Check in at the shop to get the full scoop!

Add Some Snowtubing to Your Holiday Bucket List
McCall’s Activity Barn makes snowtubing easy and fun for the whole family. The Moonrider Conveyor makes the trip up nearly effortless, and gravity does the rest!
The Activity Barn is open for snowtubing every day through January 5th.

You’ll feel the magic of winters gone by when you climb aboard a wooden sleigh and embark on an adventure across a snow-covered winter wonderland.
Post-card perfect scenery includes views of snow-capped Brundage, Jug Handle, and No Business Mountains. All ages are welcome!
#5.) Ride the Brundage Express
Free Shuttle Service Between McCall & Brundage
Coordinating transportation for everyone in the family can be tricky, but Brundage has a solution that won’t cost you a dime!
Brundage Mountain Resort partners with Mountain Community Transit to provide a free shuttle service to Brundage Mountain EVERY DAY of Winter Break.
Transportation on the Brundage Express is FREE for everyone but space for each run is limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis.
#6.) Don’t Miss LIGHT UP THE NIGHT
Always a BLAST and always FREE, Light Up the Night at Brundage Mountain is a favorite holiday tradition. Torchlight Parade, Kids Glow Stick Parade, and Slope Side Fireworks Show will leave your family with fun memories for years to come. This year’s party is Saturday, December 28.
