Summer Operations Expand to Four Days a Week

04/30/15

summer openWe are happy to announce that we are adding an additional day of operations to our summer schedule! Our regular chairlift operations will now run 10 am – 5 pm on THURSDAYS, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Smoky’s Bar & Grill will also be open Thursdays through Sundays, from 11:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Our Summer Chairlift season opens on Friday, June 20 and runs through Labor Day.

More Value for Summer Season Pass Holders, More Flexibility for Vacationers

One of the most exciting things about our ‘additional day’ of weekly operations is that it will add extra value for our summer season pass holders.

Instead of just three chances to ride each week, they’ll have four. 2015 Summer Season Passes are just $129. If you’ve already purchased a 2015-16 Winter Season Pass, you can add on a Summer Pass for just $99!

The extra day of operations will also make it easier for large groups looking to rent their mountain bikes on site. Demand is high for rentals on weekends (especially Saturdays) and adding another day should make it easier for large groups to plan special trips – and have plenty of rental options – on Thursdays as well as Fridays.

I’m Confused. I thought I got free lift rides with my Winter Season Pass Purchase…

Winter season pass holders (both 14-15 AND 15-16 passes) DO get free Scenic Chairlift Rides with their winter season pass.ย If you’d like to ride with your bike, you will need to purchase either a day ticket or summer season pass.

Why? We invest an extraordinary amount of time and effort into maintaining our 20+ miles of single track mountain bike trails and we need everyone’s help making sure we can cover those costs and continue to add features and improve the trails into the future. As noted above, we do offer a discount for our Winter Season Pass Holders. (We also recommend purchasing your summer pass during the early season pass sale in the Spring, that can save you an extra $30 or more).
