New for Winter 2015/16 - FREE Easy Street Lift Tickets All Season Long

10/15/15

Easy Street Corduroy

Brundage Mountain Resort will be offering free lift tickets on our beginner chairlift all season to encourage new people to try the sport. Visitors of any age can visit the ticket office to pick up a free Easy Street lift ticket any day of the 2015-16 winter season. Our ticket kiosk at the bottom of Easy Street will be open Saturdays and holidays for even more convenient access.

The Easy Street area will have more to offer than ever. Crews are clearing brush and trimming back a large tree island to add a groomed forest trail to the “Big Easy” Terrain Garden.

EasyStreetDitch600This will give beginners, young and old, a new way to get their first taste of tree skiing.

It will also make it easier to ski or ride from side runs back to the bottom of the lift.

As always, Kids age 6 and under get free all-mountain lift tickets, so families can introduce their children to winter snow sports at Brundage without breaking the bank.

Other new offerings for 2015/16 include:

StairStep1

StairStep Powder – Before Brush Cutting

New parking spaces in the lower parking lot – The terrain around the Centennial parking lot has been re-shaped and re-graded in order to create space for dozens of additional vehicles. This will allow easier access for more guests during peak holiday periods.

Brush Cutting and Mowing – The front side runs are getting a serious trim. Crews are mowing 35 acres of groomed runs from mid-mountain down. Thicker brush is being cut and cleared from some popular powder runs, so visitors can expect to find more open lines on StairStep and The Face.

Completion of Lodge Expansion – Brundage Mountain crews have finished a half-million dollar lodge expansion designed to provide a more convenient experience for winter visitors. The final piece, the ‘lower plaza’, was built this summer, completing a 5,000 square foot, tiered, paver patio area at the entrance to the lodge.

FirePitCUA brand new propane fire pit is the centerpiece of the plaza. Visitors will be able to ski up to the fire pit’s lower side on a groomed snow surface during the winter months. The finished plaza is an ideal location for outdoor weddings, concerts and events year-round. The lower plaza was the final piece of a multi-year expansion that added 1,450 square feet of indoor space for ticketing, guest services, rental and retail facilities as well as 1,750 square feet of outdoor deck space adjacent to Smoky’s Bar & Grill.

New Adventures at McCall’s Activity Barn Include Ski Lessons, a Rail Park and Expanded Snowtubing

Brundage season pass holders get automatic discounts on snow sessions at the new, improved Activity Barn snow park. A new conveyor lift will whisk guests to the top of the hill in less than three minutes. Grooming crews will build as many as five 800-foot tubing lanes and add 100 extra tubes to expand the fun factor and cut down on wait times.
The new ‘magic carpet’-type lift will allow the Activity Barn to be an attraction for skiers and riders, too. Crews will install a rail park as soon as snow conditions permit and the Brundage Ski & Ride School is gearing up to offer beginner lessons there on weekends, holidays and by reservation.

November 28 Update:

We have one tubing lane open and hope to add more lanes by next weekend. Follow this link for the latest updates and to view Activity Barn hours and pricing.
