Snow Piles Up at Brundage Mountain, Bonus Weekends Look Promising
McCALL, ID – Winter is far from over at Brundage Mountain. Persistent storms have dropped more than 4 feet of fresh snow between March 1 – March 17.
“Thanks to our elevation and cold air patterns, we’ve avoided the rain that’s been hitting other areas,” said resort spokesperson, April Russell. “Our base is the deepest it’s been all season and we’re optimistic that we will be able to extend our season into the month of May.”
Brundage Mountain expects to operate seven days a week through Sunday, April 10th, then move to weekend-only operations for as long as snow conditions permit.
“The past several years, we’ve been able to offer Bonus Weekends all the way into the month of May,” added Russell. “One of these years, we’d like to see if we can make it until June.”
