Kids 11 & Under FREE on Bonus Weekends - Many Other Great Ways to Save

04/10/11

Family-friendly Brundage Mountain Resort is slashing prices on lift tickets and offering FREE skiing for kids 11 & under for Bonus Weekends.

Normally, Kids 6 & under are free, but Brundage is extending that offer to include all Kids 11 & under to make it easier for families to experience affordable spring skiing. All other age groups will be treated to a $10 discount off the regular full-day lift ticket prices.

Bonus Weekend Pricing is as follows:

Kids 11 & Under – FREE
Juniors (12-17) and Seniors (70+)  –  $27
Adults (18 – 69) –  $45

Any adult (18-69) who holds a season pass at any other ski area will get an additional $5 discount. Seniors (70 +) and Kids 17 & under who are season pass holders elsewhere can ski for FREE on Bonus Weekends.

Bonus Weekend Pricing details here.

“We really want our Bonus Weekends to become a family tradition, so we’re trying to make it extra affordable for parents to bring their kids and even the grandparents,” said resort spokesperson, April Russell.

A bounty of late season snowfall has provided a very healthy snow base. Visitors have enjoyed some of the best snow conditions of the entire season in March and April. March brought 97 inches of fresh snow to Brundage Mountain, and they’ve had 9″ so far in April. (Photos attached). Snow depths range from 92 – 124 inches, and resort operators are confident that slope conditions will remain favorable.

“Staying open later into the Spring gives our Season Pass holders more value for their investment,” said resort spokesperson April Russell. “And with the economy still struggling in our area, we like to keep our seasonal employees working for as long as possible.”

Brundage Mountain’s Early Season Pass sale is on right now. Visitors can save up to $120 if they purchase their 2011/2012 Season Passes by May 1st. That purchase also allows them to ski or ride the rest of this season for free. That includes any Bonus Weekends added to the regular season.

Brundage Mountain will be assessing snow conditions in the coming weeks in hopes of adding even more Bonus Weekends further into the month of May.

Bonus Weekend FAQ:

Does my Season Pass apply on Bonus Weekends?

Yes. Anyone holding either a 2010/2011 or 2011/2012 Brundage Mountain Season Pass skis or rides for free on Bonus Weekends.

What services will be available?
All regular services will be available, with the exception of our mid-mountain and summit food and beverage outlets. Regular food and beverage service will be offered in the Main Lodge Cafeteria and Smoky’s Pub. The Birds Nest and Bears Den are now closed for the season.
Rentals, Snowsports School and Daycare will operate during regular hours and at regular prices. The retail shop on the 3rd floor will be open with 50% off select retail items.

We plan to run the Blue Bird Quad, Bear Chair and Easy Street from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm on Bonus Weekends. That means 1,340 of our 1,500 acres of terrain will be open and accessible.
