Brundage Teams with Susan G. Komen to Focus on Breast Cancer Awareness for Diva Day 2014

01/25/14

New Idaho_SGKHundreds of women are expected to hit the slopes here at Brundage Mountain for our 6th Annual ‘Diva Day’, Saturday, February 1st.

Once a year, we offer $25 lift tickets and a day full of fun and pampering to women 18 & older. This year’s event includes free chair massages, après ski yoga practice and a festive happy hour capped off by spa package giveaways and live music from Stoneseed. This year, we’re also teaming up with Susan G. Komen of Idaho to help fight breast cancer.

It’s pretty common to see groups of men on the mountain with their buddies or women up here skiing with their children, but we want to encourage women to focus on themselves, spend time with their girlfriends and make it a true getaway. That’s what Diva Day stands for.

This year, Brundage is partnering with Susan G. Komen of Idaho to include a focus on breast cancer awareness. The Komen foundation is donating four grand prizes to the women who find pink ribbons hidden around the mountain. Brundage will donate a portion of its happy hour proceeds to the foundation.

The spa package drawing, sponsored by McCall’s Spa Del Sol, is always a big hit with the ladies. Everyone who attends happy hour will get one free entry into the drawing. An additional ticket will be added to the hat out for each dollar donated to Susan G. Komen.

St. Luke’s of McCall will also be on site talking about women’s health, active lifestyles, and passing out sunscreen.

Full details are available here.

The pampering doesn’t have to end Saturday: Women who attend Diva Day on Saturday, February 1 can show their lift ticket on Sunday, February 2 and receive another $25 lift ticket for ‘Divas, Don’t Leave Us’ Day.

The energy on Diva Day is incredible and we hope you’ll come and help us pay it forward!
