Summer Lift Service Starts June 27

04/13/14

Closing Saturday 124007The Brundage Mountain family would like to thank all of our winter visitors for a great season! We are excited to kick off our summer season with some exciting changes, including the operation of our popular slopeside restaurant during the summer months. Smoky’s Bar & Grill will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from June 27 – Labor Day, and will feature a delicious Sunday brunch.

Managing Director Bob Looper shares his thanks and some updates on our next big projects:

What a fantastic weekend to end our winter season here at Brundage Mountain.  I hope you were all able to enjoy the warm sunny conditions and ample corn snow that provides for some outstanding spring skiing.  With the warm temperatures and sunny days our snowpack is quickly receding and unfortunately, we must bring an end to our 2013/2014 winter season.  Thanks to all of our loyal customers and Mother Nature for our “just in time snow” all year, we managed to have a very good year here at Brundage.

Our focus here at Brundage now turns to our summer programming and capital improvement projects.  Our staff will be busy with our summer calendar of events, lift served mountain biking, opening of Smoky’s restaurant for Friday-Sunday summer service and bringing back our spectacular Sunday brunch.  Look for some new on-mountain features that we hope to unveil for our opening day Friday, June 27.

The mountain will be abuzz with summer projects that will include continued improvements to the base lodge facilities, engineering and environmental work for siting the Sargents Expansion, upgrades to the Activity Barn tubing park and many more projects.

I look forward to seeing you all this summer up on the mountain, maybe sipping a tall cool one on Smoky’s deck while watching a downhill biker fly across the flats against the alpenglow on a summers eve.

– Bob
