Brundage Mountain Surpasses 400 Inch Milestone
BRUNDAGE MOUNTAIN SURPASSES 400 INCH MILESTONE
Discount Lift Tickets for Remainder of Extended Season
McCall, ID – Brundage Mountain Resort is proud to announce that it has exceeded the 400” milestone for cumulative season snowfall. The resort hit that mark on Saturday, March 29th.
While Brundage Mountain has surpassed the 400 inch mark in five of the last 20 years, most U.S. ski resorts consider a 300 inch season to be landmark.
In celebration, Brundage Mountain has reduced the price of a full-day adult lift ticket to just $40. That price will continue for the remainder of the season. (That’s 400 inches of snow for the equivalent of 400 dimes!)
The snow quality is so good and the snow pack so deep, the resort now plans to add extra weekends of operation.
Season Extended Through Late April
Normally, Brundage Mountain closes its winter operations after the second Sunday in April. This year, resort managers plan to operate seven days a week through Sunday, April 13. After that, Brundage will continue lift service for two additional weekends, April 19-20 and April 26-27, weather permitting.
“Our snow depths right now are on par with what they were after that amazing snowfall in early February,” said resort spokesperson April Russell, “and unseasonably cool temperatures are keeping that snow pack in prime condition.”
