McCall, ID – Brundage Mountain is bustling with activity this fall, as staff works to improve the grooming fleet and add a brand new food and beverage outlet at mid-mountain.

THE BEAR’S DEN

The Bear's Den

The new Bear’s Den is nearing completion at the top of the Bear Chair. It’s an 8-sided log building with 1,300 square feet of space inside, which will provide seating for about 88 people. Operating Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the Bear’s Den offers another dining alternative during the resort’s busiest times.
Its convenient location at the top of the Bear Chair allows families to take a break and grab some refreshments while staying close to their children’s favorite runs.
The Bear’s Den will feature a special kid’s menu, as well as some adult offerings not available in the main lodge. It will also have a 2,100 square foot wrap-around deck with great views of favorite runs like Alpine, Engen and Sidewinder.

Also look for:
New offerings in the Main Lodge, including: homemade baked goods, an expanded salad bar and baked potato bar. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, you can also visit the Bird’s Nest yurt at the top of the BlueBird quad for hot drinks, hot soups and specialty hot dogs.

EXPANDED GROOMING FLEET – NEW GROOMING OPTIONS

Winch CatBrundage Mountain’s reputation for the Best Snow in IdahoTM isn’t just about the powder. Over the past three seasons, the resort has made significant investments to improve its fleet of groomers. Brundage Mountain has already acquired two brand new Prinoth BR-350 groomers, and is now adding a Prinoth winch cat to the fleet. This groomer is equipped with 1,000 meters of winch cable, which will help grooming crews reach steep slopes that were inaccessible in the past. It could also come in handy with pre-season grooming, which could result in an even earlier opening day!

Also look for:
A pair of terrain parks, designed to meet the needs of beginners AND more experienced freestyle riders. A small-feature park on Jammer will designed specifically for children and entry-level park riders who want to ride freestyle terrain, but aren’t quite ready to play with the big boys (and girls). More advanced riders can saddle up on Rodeo, for a selection of medium-sized rails, jibs and jumps that offer a longer ride, more variety and a bigger challenge.
