Snow lovers headed to the McCall area will have more more ways to enjoy the winter slopes, as the Activity Barn Snow Tubing facility is set to open Friday, December 20.

Recent storms, combined with the tubing hill’s ongoing snowmaking efforts, will allow the Activity Barn to open with two 800-foot tubing lanes in action.

The Snow Tubing hill, located two miles south of McCall, will contour and open additional lanes as conditions permit.

Anyone 36 inches or taller can go snow tubing at the Activity Barn, which features a conveyor lift to transport snow tubers to the top of the hill in just seven minutes.

Tubing is offered in two-hour blocks. Guests can pre-schedule their tubing sessions online to reserve a spot. Space is limited during each session to make sure everyone gets an ample amount of tubing action and lines don’t get too long.

The Activity Barn’s regular operating days are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The tubing facility will be open seven days a week from Friday, December 20 from now through January 5, 2025. Bonus Mondays are planned on the three-day MLK and Presidents weekends.
