It's the Best, Even at its Worst

After 10 straight days of sunshine and spring-like weather, you would expect even the Best Snow in Idaho to ‘have seen better days’.

I’m not going to try to tell you that today’s turns ranked with what we find on a 10″ powder day, HOWEVER, I think it’s worth mentioning how superbly our groomed runs have held up during this brief  ‘spring break’.

Look at how the edges of these skis sink right in.

If the slopes were firm or even a little bit crusty, even the most confident of skiers would not be able to carve quite like this.

That’s a big part of what makes the Best Snow in Idaho, the best.

Our last official ‘powder day’ was January 11th. We’re hoping our next one is this coming Saturday.

But in the meantime, it’s great to see the ‘downtime’ still kicks up some fun.  — April
