The Gift You Give Yourself
What could be better than skiing or riding with your family or closest friends over the winter holiday? How about hitting the slopes on one of the rare UNCROWDED days during the holiday period.
That’s the added bonus you get if you can finagle a visit on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
This morning’s visitors were treated to pristine corduroy like this:
And enjoyed great turns without battling crowds.
On Christmas Eve and especially Christmas Day, you’re likely to share a slope with your own shred crew…and maybe one or two other people.
That makes it the perfect time to reintroduce the kids to skiing after six months away, or warm up your adult legs in advance of deeper days.
This year, it looks like we’ll have an added incentive to sneak away to the slopes on Christmas morn. Not only is it already snowing…
But, you can’t argue with the odds when they are 100 percent:
Forecasters are predicting 6-10 inches and with cold overnight temperatures, we’re almost sure to see a sweet powder day as a last-minute Christmas gift.
Maybe it’s time for a new Christmas morning tradition???
