Fun in the Sun
We’ve had quite a streak of gray, soggy days here on the mountain, so it was invigorating to see the sun out first thing this morning.
It didn’t take long for the sun-seekers to turn into fun-seekers.
By mid-day, we’d had several cars cruise into the parking lot to check out the scene here at Brundage Mountain.
The official start of summer is just one week away, and we still have loads of snow on the mountain. Some of our visitors took advantage of that with an impromptu sledding session.
They had to trek up past the patches of exposed dirt to find a nice, snowy slope.
But it looks like the ride down was worth it!
Now that school is out, we expect to see more of these fun-filled scenes. But don’t wait too long – summer is just a week away and the snow is disappearing fast.
Don’t feel like hiking through the snow? No worries. Our Summer Chairlift Grand Opening is set for June 30. And for one day only, you can even get a free ride all the way to the top of the mountain!
