Tubapalooza is back! Join us at the McCall Activity Barn for a fun-filled competition on the tubing slopes. Prizes for Design and Distance of a homemade, person powered, non-coated corrugated cardboard sled capable of withstanding the descent.
This is a fundraising event for the Brundage Mountain Lifetime Sports Program. Your $5 registration fee will help introduce local school kids to the sports of alpine skiing and snowboarding.
How creative can you be using only non-coated corrugated cardboard, tape, glue, paint and other decorations?
Prizes will be awarded for:

Registration begins at 4 pm, contests and downhill competition at 5 pm. Enjoy discounted tubing from 4 pm-9 pm. ($10 for a two-hour session from 4 pm – close). Snacks, beer, wine and sodas are available for purchase.

Design and participation guidelines:
Construction:
- Your sled must pass inspection to be allowed on the hill. Any sled deemed unsafe by Activity Barn staff will be disqualified.
- Only corrugated cardboard may be used in construction of sled. All sleds must be a maximum of 4 feet wide, with a maximum of 2 human riders.
- Tape and glue may be used to hold your sled together but may not be used on surfaces in contact with the snow.
- The entire surface in contact with the run must be corrugated cardboard only. No duct tape, plastic, paint, wax, etc. is allowed on any surface in contact with snow.
- You must be able to stop your sled. Keep this important feature in mind during the design phase; you will be asked to demonstrate ability to stop your sled.
- Paint, decorations, logos, costumes and etc. are encouraged.
Participation:
- Helmets are mandatory.
- The Cheer Team for each sled can be unlimited, the more the merrier!
- To qualify as a finisher, you must be in or on your sled rather than chasing it or being chased by it as you cross the finish line.
- All participants must have read and understood the rules and signed our liability release form.
