This Saturday, 26 teams and over 1,000 youth bike racers from all over the west will compete at the @nationalmtb Brundage Blastoff!
Please note that due to the event’s scale, the following mountain operations will be in place for Saturday: 🚵♂️ All front-side trails will be closed for hiking and biking on August 17th. 🚵♂️Bluebird Express will be open for scenic chairlift rides and bike hauls with access to Rock Garden-Lakeview Vista-Brundage to Bear Basin Trail only. There is no return access to the base area Saturday from the summit. 🚵♂️The B2BB Shuttle will be available for riders wanting to ride Rock Garden, Lakeview Vista, and the B2BB trail system. Additional shuttle times have been added. Online and advanced reservations required.
🚵♂️The disc golf course will be closed Friday and Saturday. There will be no Yoga on Saturday. 🚵♂️ Normal operations will resume Sunday, August 18th.
Smoky’s will be open all weekend long!
We are proud to bring Idaho Interscholastic Cycling to the Brundage Mountain Bike Park and host the first race of the season, the Blastoff at Brundage!
The Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League is part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association was founded in 2014 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) Project League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). They facilitate the development of high school and middle school teams/clubs for grades 6-12 and provide the education, training, licensing and insurance for coaches and volunteers. They also produce high-quality mountain bike events and races that emphasize the value of participation, camaraderie, positive sporting behavior and well-being over competition.
