Even MORE to Smile About, Lakeview Opens Tomorrow!

12/09/10

We’re less than 1 week into our 50th Season and already, we’ve had so much to smile about! We got a powder day on opening day, sunshine the day after, then four days of free skiing this week.

More than 3,000 visitors took advantage of this 50th Season ‘appreciation present’.

Even with a lot of people on the mountain, we found uncrowded runs and smiles to spare.

Even though that event has come to an end, we have TWO MORE things we’re excited about heading in to tomorrow.

First and foremost, (for most of us) is the forecast. The experts are predicting 7-13 inches by Saturday morning, then another 3-7 Saturday night! That would set us up for a couple more early-season powder days this weekend.

Today, we were lucky to get a view of the lake at all after some fog rolled in on the summit.

(See way down there is our favorite ski town. Hello McCall!)

Whether the snow comes or not, we are slated to open the Lakeview Lift tomorrow, which means all 1,500 acres of terrain will be open, and all five chairlifts will be in action now Fridays – Sundays and all holidays.

That means we no longer have to gaze longingly into those trees over on the Lakeview side, or drool over the untouched corduroy.

Starting tomorrow, we can dive right in!

See you soon!

– April
