Easy Street Opens for the Season on Friday
#OptOutside with FREE Skiing at Brundage Mountain
If you would rather enjoy Idaho’s outdoors than stand in line for a Black Friday sale, Brundage Mountain has the perfect solution. The McCall, Idaho ski resort is offering three days of free skiing and riding on its Easy Street chairlift Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend.
The Easy Street triple chair will run from 10 am – 3 pm Friday, November 23, Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25. Smoky’s Bar & Grill will be open from 11 – 3 all three days, with the Fall Line Shop, Ski + Ride School and Brundage Guest Services open from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm.
“Our snowmaking team has taken full advantage of low temperatures so that we can open Easy Street for the season,” said resort spokesperson, April Whitney. “Our next goal is to open upper mountain terrain and the latest forecast shows Mother Nature is now getting on board with us.”
Powder Chasers ForecastAfter Thanksgiving weekend, Easy Street will operate Saturdays and Sundays. With a series of storms in the forecast, the Brundage Mountain team is optimistic that additional terrain can be added soon.
The Easy Street lift (and Easy Rider conveyor) are FREE to all ages, all season long. This free access is a centerpiece of Brundage Mountain’s evolving Learn to Ski + Ride Program. New additions this year include the Beartopia Family Fun Zone and the 4×4 Learn to Ski + Ride Program, which offers four lessons and four rentals, PLUS a season pass, for just $249.
Those visiting Thanksgiving weekend are also invited to the community’s annual Pray for Snow Party. It will be held Friday, November 23rd at the Activity Barn Snow Tubing facility in McCall. This year’s family-friendly party features live music from Innocent Man along with delicious food from Brundage Mountain Catering, hot and cold drinks and bonfire sacrifices to the Norse god and goddess of snow, Ullr and Skadi.
