Brundage Serves Up an 18 Inch Reset Ahead of Spring Finale April 12

04/02/26

A timely round of late-season storms has refreshed the slopes of Brundage Mountain Resort, with 9 to 12 inches stacking up between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon and storm totals reaching 11 to 18 inches since Monday. The midweek powder has skiers and riders buzzing and is shoring up conditions heading into the final stretch of the season.

Brundage Mountain remains open daily, with a target closing date of Sunday, April 12.

“This is the kind of surprise that makes spring skiing at Brundage so much fun,” said General Manager Ken Rider. “You get the sunshine, the relaxed vibe—and then a storm rolls in and resets the whole mountain. Our teams have been all-in all season, and we’re excited to carry that momentum right through closing day.”

Spring Events Every Weekend

Spring at Brundage leans into that laid-back, community feel, with a lineup of events designed to celebrate the season’s final stretch. This weekend kicks off with Brewlympics on Saturday, featuring crowd-favorite challenges like the Root Beer Relay, Beer Relay and the always-entertaining Gelande Quaff. On Sunday, families can take part in the Easy Street Easter Egg Hunt, a longtime tradition for the mountain’s youngest skiers and riders.

The celebration continues into closing weekend, with the Cardboard Derby on Saturday, April 11, where creativity meets chaos on snow, followed by the Last Tracks ski run on Sunday, April 12, a favorite send-off for the season.
