Brundage Mountain is Now 100% Open

12/19/19

Brundage Mountain is now 100 percent open, with all chairlifts in operation and 100 percent of the ski area’s terrain now open.

Ski patrol opened the Lakeview Bowl the morning of Thursday, December 19, and skiers and riders were greeted with three to four inches of fresh powder.

Hidden Valley opened earlier this week, bringing all 1,920 acres of Brundage Mountain’s terrain into play.

“We are so proud of the work our team has done to get the mountain 100 percent open,” said resort spokesperson, April Whitney. “Conditions were really good for early season already, and this storm we’re in the middle of right now is totally buffing things out for the Winter Break period.”

Brundage Mountain has seen 15 inches of fresh snowfall in the last eight days and is now under a Winter Weather Advisory, with an additional 6-8 inches possible before the weekend. Snow depths range from 28 to 36 inches.

Brundage Mountain plans to run all lifts and have all of its restaurant outlets open every day from this Friday, December 20 right through Sunday, January 5.

The FREE McCall to Brundage shuttle will operate every day through that same holiday period.

“Kicking off Winter Break with 100 percent of our terrain open is always our goal,” added Whitney. “Having fresh snow to welcome our first wave of holiday guests is the icing on the cake.”
