Bluebird Express opening Expands Full-Time Operations at Brundage Mountain

12/21/25

Bluebird Express, Centennial Express, Bear Chair and Easy Street Now Open Seven Days a Week

Brundage Mountain Resort will continue expanding winter operations when the Centennial Express high

-speedquad is added to the lineup starting Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025.

With Centennial Express coming online, Brundage Mountain now has two high-speed quad chairlifts operating on the front side, providing access to more than 20 groomed and ungroomed runs, including multiple top-to-bottom options.

Brundage is now open seven days a week with the Bluebird Express, Centennial Express, Bear Chair and Easy Street chairlifts operating from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily.

Over the past seven days, Brundage has received 19 inches of new snow at the base area and 25 inches at the summit, significantly improving coverage and open terrain.

“This has been a productive and challenging week for our crew. Despite fluctuating snow levels, we’ve continued to see meaningful accumulation across the mountain,” said Brundage Mountain General Manager Ken Rider. “Opening Centennial Express allows us to offer better flow, more terrain variety and a noticeably improved guest experience heading into the heart of the holiday period.”

Storm potential remains in the forecast, with a cold front expected to move into the region overnight on Christmas Eve. Forecast models indicate that 10 to 18 inches of colder, drier snow could accumulate between Christmas morning and the morning of Saturday, Dec. 27.

“That colder air arriving Christmas Eve is a big deal for us,” Rider said. “If the forecast holds, we’re looking at a stretch of lighter, drier snow that should continue to improve conditions and help us keep expanding terrain as we move through the holiday week and beyond.”

Brundage Mountain is celebrating its 65th season this year, and is offering full day, all mountain lift tickets for just $65 through Christmas day for adults, seniors, teens and military. Junior tickets are $55 through Christmas.

Guests are encouraged to check the Brundage Snow Report page regularly for the latest information on open lifts, terrain, operating hours and current lift ticket pricing, as conditions may change quickly during active storm cycles.

Holiday events remain on schedule, including a visit from Santa Claus on Christmas Day and the annual Light Up the Night Celebration on New Year’s Eve.
