An Irish Blessing
The spirit of Saint Patrick’s Day is alive and well here at Brundage Mountain.
After a long dry spell, Winter returned in the form of two inches of fresh snow.
Watching flakes fall all morning was a welcome distraction, but what energized our day even more was the festive spirit of our guests.
Everywhere I turned today, there was splash of bright green.
Leprechaun-inspired beards were also popular:
A few of them even looked real!
A stop into Smoky’s Bar & Grill was like a visit to an Irish Pub. (Sort of).
Our chef’s special Corned Beef & Cabbage lunch was to die for.
And our friendly serving staff was determined not to get pinched.
Saint Patrick’s Day traditions were honored in many ways.
Although some seemed confused about their spring holidays.
Most of us felt excited to see wintery weather return and to share the blessings of the day.
May you be rich in blessings, poor in misfortune,
Slow to make enemies, quick to make friends.
But rich or poor, slow or quick,
May you know nothing but happiness from this day forward.
