Spring storms have left Brundage Mountain with relatively solid snowpack on the upper reaches of the mountain. While we wait to ride the upper mountain bike trails, our park crew came out of hibernation and built a terrain park on the top of Main Street. This class will provide students with the knowledge needed to explore snow covered hills safely. This course follows the American Avalanche Association- Level 1 NSP Avalanche course. Students will learn how to recognize avalanche terrain, understand factors that result in avalanches and how to mitigate risk while traveling in avalanche terrain.
