Picnic Areas

Winter Picnic Areas

No outside food or beverage is permitted inside any Brundage Mountain lodge facilities that provide restaurant services. Brundage Mountain has created several designated seating areas for guests who bring food from home.

Designated Picnic Areas Include:

  • The patio and snowfront east of Smoky’s entrance (between Smoky’s and the Main Street run)
  • In front of the FallLine Shop, facing the Bluebird lift
  • On the snowfront South of the ticket windows, near the fire pit

Can I store my extra gear inside the lodge?

  • Personal gear may NOT be stored inside the lodges.
  • A limited number of day storage lockers are available through FallLine Rentals. Extra gear can be stored inside your vehicle.

Enjoy the Tailgating Tradition

Another popular option at Brundage Mountain is to use your vehicle as a base lodge and enjoy the vibrant tailgating scene in the parking lots. Tailgating in the Lower Lot is a favorite tradition among Brundage visitors, with the prime spots found in the front row abutting the Cat Track in the Lower (Centennial) Lot.

Please be aware that tents are allowed ONLY on ungroomed, unplowed snow surfaces around the perimeter of the parking lots. Arrive early to get the best spot, please be sure to follow the parking rules and guidelines, and above all, HAVE FUN!
