Brundage Welcomes Ken Rider as Director of Marketing & Assistant General Manager

10/17/17

Brundage Mountain Resort is excited to welcome Ken Rider as the resort’s new Director of Marketing and Assistant General Manager. Rider brings 20 years of ski industry marketing experience to this new position having spearheaded successful marketing efforts in Colorado, Wyoming and Idaho. Ken served as Director of Marketing during the early years of Tamarack Resort and also spent six years in charge of the marketing program at Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, WY.

“Ken’s had a big impact already in this region, and we’re excited to have him join the Brundage team,” said Brundage Managing Director and President, Bob Looper. “He understands our regional ski landscape and has a solid a track record of effective leadership.”

Rider, his wife and two daughters (who are both McCall natives) will be moving back to the McCall area in early November. Rider will be responsible for Brundage Mountain’s strategic marketing efforts as well as overall resort strategy and revenue growth.

“I’m very excited to return to McCall to join the crew at Brundage and to continue the fantastic work that the Brundage team has accomplished as a great family-owned and family focused resort. I’m also stoked to be able to ride the ‘Best Snow in Idaho’ and share that with my family, the staff, and our guests.”

Brundage Mountain’s current Director of Sales and Marketing, Jared Montague, is leaving the ski industry but not the area. Montague is pursuing a career in the financial planning industry.

“Jared has played a key role on the Brundage Mountain leadership team for more than 10 years,” said Looper. “He is well respected in the community and well loved by his co-workers. We wish him the best in his next chapter and fully expect to see him on the slopes of Brundage Mountain in his spare time.”
