Brundage Mountain is Now 100% Open
The foot and a half of fresh snow that fell this week at Brundage Mountain has allowed crews to open 100 percent of the mountain.
Ski Patrol completed its control work this morning, paving the way for Hidden Valley and Northwest Passage to open for the season. Grooming operations also expanded in recent days to include the Lakeview Bowl and all primary Frontside runs.
“This big storm is the gift that keeps on giving,” said resort spokesperson, April Whitney. “It delivered back-to-back powder days AND gave us the depths and coverage we needed to get the whole mountain open and dialed in.”
The newly-remodeled Bear’s Den Restaurant opens tomorrow, which brings food & beverage operations up to 100%. Brundage Snowmobile Adventures started its guided tours this week. The FREE McCall to Brundage shuttle will operate every day from December 21 through January 7.
Fresh snow remains in the Brundage Mountain forecast over the next ten days, with 2-6 inches predicted overnight tonight.
“We’re hitting the sweet spot at the sweetest possible time,” added Whitney. “We can’t wait to kick off Winter Break and welcome our holiday guests.”
