Mountaintop Weddings

Tucked away high in the beautiful central mountains of Idaho, Brundage Mountain offers picturesque mountaintop weddings. This majestic location serves as a beautiful, natural backdrop for your wedding. Brundage Mountain Catering’s on-site culinary team will create a delicious and unique menu, featuring a wide variety of cuisine choices. With a summit ceremony and a reception at the base of the mountain, the wedding of your dreams awaits.

Mountain Ceremony

Mountaintop weddings at Brundage Mountain offer 360° panoramic views of the Payette National Forest and a backdrop of both Payette and Little Payette Lakes. Guests are lifted up over 1,900 ft of elevation via Bluebird Chairlift with the ceremony deck located just 50 yards away.

Base Area Reception

The brand new Bluebird Pavilion tent located adjacent to the new Mountain Adventure Center and Bluebird Chairlift offers 3200 square feet of covered space, tables & chairs, dance floor, catering and bar, and space for a DJ or band. Your unforgettable reception is located at the base area of Brundage Mountain with easy access to parking, the Bridal Party quarters and restrooms.

From elegant plated dinners to hearty buffets, our on-site culinary team brings flavor and flair to every event. Full bar services, including signature cocktails, ensure your celebration is as delicious as it is memorable.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many guests can I have at the summit? At the reception?

All wedding guests are welcome at the summit. Each guest will receive a lift ticket for the day. We can accommodate up to 50 chairs at the
ceremony site with standing room available.

Is there a time restriction for the ceremony at the summit? At the reception?

Yes, the latest time for the ceremony on the summit is 3:00 PM. All guests must down load the lift by 5:00 PM.

Can I decorate at the ceremony site?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own decor and you can start set-up at 9:00 AM the day of the event at the Base Area Venue. Set up at the Ceremony Site is available at 10am. Please remember all clean-up and removal of decorations must be done at the end of the event.

Is there handicap access to the summit?

All access to the summit is via the Bluebird Chairlift. All guests must be able to load and unload the chairlift. ADA access can be requested in advance.

Can my dog(s) join us for the event?

Yes, at the reception! Dogs are not welcomed on the lift and cannot join the ceremony.

Are any of these venues closed to the public when booked?

Booking during the open season, these venues are not entirely closed to the public and daily operations. However, the public are courteous to your event and we do our best to keep your event private. The base area venue space is not open to the public and would be your own private space.

Is there space available for the bridal party to get ready?

Yes, both the groom and the bride have access to separate areas to get ready.

Can I bring in my own caterer?

All catering needs are provided from our in-house catering team. You are welcome to use your own baker for your cake.

Alexa brings six years of hands-on culinary experience, sharpened by her time in fast-paced kitchens like Lucky Fins, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, the Arid Club, and most recently as Kitchen Manager at Jug Mountain Ranch. With a background in business and a start in dietary and fast-food management, Alexa blends operational expertise with a passion for creativity in the kitchen—making her a perfect fit for this leadership role.

Alexa leads a dynamic and dedicated team focused on innovation and hospitality. “I’m excited to cook delicious food and bring joy to people through what we serve every day.”

Rebecca Repp

Director of Food & Beverage

Lewiston native Rebecca Repp brings 16 years of hospitality experience to Brundage Mountain Resort. Specializing in special event catering and food service management, Repp built her leadership skills in a diverse range of roles across Minnesota, Colorado, Maryland, and New York. A graduate of The College of Idaho, Repp is excited to be back in her home state and lead the Brundage team.

“There’s a lot of room for creativity and innovation here,” Repp said. “Whether it’s developing new culinary offerings that highlight local Idaho flavors or organizing special events, I love interacting with guests and seeing how our efforts contribute to their enjoyment.”

Do you provide linens?

No, you will need to provide your own linens for your tables and napkins.

What time can I get to the summit to decorate?

The chairlift opens at 10:00 AM, you can load the lift and begin decorating immediately.

How late can my reception go?

The venue is available for the receptions until 10:00 PM. Decorations need to be cleaned by 11:00 PM.

How many guests can I invite?

Outdoor capacity and indoor space is limited to 200 guests.
