January is NSAA Safety Month, and we’re inviting guests of all ages to join us in celebrating safe skiing and riding at Brundage. Throughout the month, we’ll be hosting simple, engaging activations that highlight Your Responsibility Code and encourage smart decisions on the mountain in fun, approachable ways.
Whether you’re a lifelong skier or it’s your first time at Brundage, Safety Month is a great reminder that we all play a role in keeping the mountain safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Safety Poster Contest: Create your own poster that demonstrates the responsibility code. The winner will be displayed at the bottom of Bluebird for the rest of the winter. As we collect them, they will be displayed in the MAC for the month of January. Pick up your blank poster at the Guest Services desk.
Safety Bingo: Pick up a Safety Bingo card at Guest Services and complete it throughout the month of January by practicing safe habits on the mountain. Return a completed card to Guest Services to earn a 65th Season sticker!
Discounted Kid Helmets: For the month of January, the Retail shop in the Mountain Adventure Center will offer a 20% discount of kid helmets! It’s a great time to upgrade gear and reinforce safe habits for young skiers and riders!
Laps with Patrol: Sign up for a unique opportunity to ski with Brundage Ski Patrol and learn firsthand how they help keep the mountain safe every day. Space is limited to eight participants and advance sign up is required. Must be able to ski blue runs and feel comfortable throughout the entire mountain. Meet at the top patrol shack at 1:00 pm to have an afternoon with patrol.
