ASG1 Backcountry Essentials with Treone Cooley

  •  March 1, 2025 - March 2, 2025

Treone is a versatile leader and instructor. She comes from a family of ski racers and was taught skiing in Park City, but most importantly, she LOVES to ski, especially in the backcountry. She has spent many hours in the backcountry, including a trip to Iceland and working on her Pro1 Avy Certification.

As an officer in the Army Reserve, she deployed to Iraq twice and Afghanistan once, and she spent a lot of time in leadership roles and building her academic profile. She has a Master’s degree from Boise State and an Undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Treone is also a philanthropist serving on boards/committees/volunteering for a veteran’s organization and local nonprofits, a piano teacher, a yoga instructor, an Airbnb owner, and a full-time mom of 2 crazy boys. If you come on a guided tour with her, or participate on her ASG1 courses, you won’t be disappointed.
