A Local Call Out

02/21/11

As the three day weekend comes to a close, Brundage would like to thank all of the skiers and riders who came out and joined us on the slopes.

It was a weekend filled with new snowfall, thousands of smiling faces, powder-filled trees and unequaled bliss.

Now as the week starts anew, we look forward to what is to come.

These photos were taken today February 21, 2011.

Here is what could be on its way to be dumped on top of what is here:

Tonight: A 40 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 1. Wind chill values between -4 and -9. South wind between 7 and 10 mph. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tuesday: Snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 24. Wind chill values between -9 and 1. South southwest wind between 11 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Tuesday Night: Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 4. Wind chill values between -2 and -7. Southwest wind between 11 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 18. West southwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Wednesday Night: Snow showers. Low around 5. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Thursday: Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 18. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

So to everyone available mid-week through the weekend, strap on your sticks because we are in for – what I am predicting to be – the best ski days of the season!!

All you local powder hounds are free to roam around the mountain….

-Cory
