Back in the Groove

01/19/11

What a difference a few days can make! After getting hoodwinked this weekend by the Pineapple Express, it’s finally starting to look and feel like the Brundage Mountain we know and love.

Temperatures are safely below freezing, we’ve had 3″ of fresh snow in the last 24 hours, and we even got to make some turns in the sunshine today!

The slopes are returning to normal after that cool weather and fresh snow. It takes a few days of grooming to smooth and soften the corduroy. Here’s another spot that took a long to time recover from the weekend storms:

Check out how much snow was on top of the Bears Den until our hearty shovel crew got a chance to catch up:

As I said, today felt like smooth sailing after a tough weekend of “Moisture Management”.

We were smiling as we carved up the slopes and got reacquainted with that bright orb in the sky. Here are some photos as some of my favorite faces enjoy some girl time under the sunshine!
