Keeping it Fresh: Brundage Mountain Dining Options Continue to Evolve

12/05/17

If you’ve been visiting Brundage Mountain for more than a few years, you’ve surely noticed the progression in the dining options here on the mountain. Back in the day, choices included a cafeteria and a small bar area. Now, Brundage Mountain offers five different wintertime venues, gourmet dining adventures at the Bears Den and a top-rated catering operation available year-round.

If you’re planning a visit this winter, you’ll find our newest offerings just a few steps from your arrival. Here’s a quick rundown:

#1 – New Location for The SideStash Espresso Bar

No more climbing to the Third Floor to get your morning caffeine fix. The SideStash Espresso Bar’s new location, at the top of the stairs on the FIRST floor, makes it easy to grab a hot drink or quick breakfast bite before hitting the slopes.

#2 – New Finishes and Menu in the Upper Lot Pub

New last season, the Upper Lot Pub is a 21 & over space featuring tasty bites and locally-sourced ingredients. This year, the space has been revamped with a more mature vibe and the menu re-imagined with a wider variety of beer & drink choices. But the real show-stopper is the new pub menu. It features toasted, open-faced sandwiches that are sure to put a smile on YOUR face. And don’t miss the Naan Flatbread Pizzas. The flavor combos are not to be missed!

#3 – Fresh Food Choices in Smoky’s Bar & Grill

A lunch break or apres ski stop at Smoky’s Bar & Grill is now a must-do during any Brundage Mountain visit. This year’s menu includes Smoky’s classics like the Mile High Nachos and deliciously popular Pulled Pork Sandwich (the house-made Huckleberry BBQ sauce adds a fresh twist). New items you won’t want to miss include summer favorites like the Tarragon Chicken Wrap and Argentinian Cheese steak Sandwich. Our chefs are so confident you’ll love the Brundage Poutine, it’s making its debut in the ‘Favorites’ section of the menu!

#4 – Adventure Dining: Bear’s Den ‘Dinner After Dark’

Forget Uber. Shun the shuttle. A backcountry snowcat is the transportation of choice for those embarking on our newest dining adventure offered at the mid-mountain Bear’s Den. You’ll cozy in for a four-course gourmet meal that will please even the most discriminating palate. Conversation and camaraderie come naturally as you share the adventure with a group of friends or make new connections though the shared experience. ‘Public’ events are already filling fast. Custom dinner dates can be added for groups of 12 or more.
