Brundage Mountain Teams Up With GIANT BICYCLES for Local Food Drive

06/26/13

NewgiantbikesBy now you may have heard about our Summer Grand Opening Celebration, and how we’re asking our visitors to pitch in a can of food or $1 in exchange for their free lift ticket.

Now, we’re happy to announce that Giant Bicycles is upping the ante by donating more than three dozen different items to a raffle that will benefit that same great cause.

All of the proceeds from the food drive and raffle will go straight to the Heartland Hunger Resource Center, which operates the McCall Food Bank.

The Grand Opening Celebration takes place Friday, June 28 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The raffle features everything from bike jerseys to locks, gloves, saddles and floor pumps. Each person who donates a can of food or $1 will receive a raffle ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased for $1 each. Multiple items will be raffled at noon, 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm, with a grand prize drawing at 4 pm for a giant swag bag which will include a 2013 summer season pass. Participants must be present to win.

The event also includes free bike safety checks from 9 am – 11 am, an all-day Recreation Showcase and a base area barbecue that starts at noon. You can learn more about the day’s events here.

We hope you can join us as we join with Giant Bicycle to make a giant difference in our local community.
