Mid-Mountain Miracle
When the summit is wrapped with a blanket of fog, don’t fret, take a few laps on the our mid-mountain lift, the Bear Chair.
Often, if the fog is to much to handle at the top. It can be quite different on the lower half of the mountain.
Today, I heard the term “Pea Soup” used to describe how thick it was at the summit. While it took a knife to cut your way through the pea soup up there, the sun blessed us with its presence at mid- mountain and we were doing a different kind of carving, in clear skies, down below. Check out the difference…
Visibility was 1 chair length ahead on the Blue Bird

Huge difference on the Bear Chair
Next time you are at Brundage and the visibility at the summit is “Pea Soup” consider stopping by the Bear Chair, say hello to your lift operator and carve it up…

Have a good day!!
