When The Crowds Are Away The Employees Will Play!

01/05/10

Ask any local that spends his/her free time at Brundage Mountain; Is there anything better than a mid-week powderBrundage1-5-10-034 day?  You may get a few answers such as “Yes, only because I have to work during the week” or “I can’t skip school to be there”.  But  I think the majority of the answers would sound a little more along the lines of “Are you kidding?  Of course there is nothing better than a mid-week powder day.  No people, no lines and nobody to poach my powder stash”.

This statement was made today by a Brundage Mountain Employee.  You see, when it snows mid-week, kids are in school, parents are at work, and others just don’t have the time to travel.  That is why off-duty employees of Brundage rejoice when the forecast calls for snow (and a lot of it) during the week.  We woke up on a Tuesday morning to new snow and said,

“THIS IS WHY I LOVE MY JOB!”

-Cory

Here are some off-duty employees enjoying their well deserved free time after the holiday rush.
