NSAA Safety Month – Lids on Kids & Kids on Lifts
January 11 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Brundage Mountain is proud to be a part of National Safety Month. We are partnering with St. Luke’s Trauma Center for a day of FREE demonstrations on how to fit a helmet properly. Representatives from our Ski & Ride School and St. Luke’s will be on hand to fit helmets and teach our guests the proper way to load and upload from a lift.
Brundage Mountain is celebrating NSAA Safety Month by bringing you a month of special events, classes, and demonstrations. Many Resorts across the country participate every year to educate skiers and snowboarders about being safe, and using common sense on the slopes.
National Ski Area Association promotes the use of helmets on the slopes. They encourage skiers and riders to not only wear a helmet – but to ski or ride as if they are not wearing a helmet. NSAA views skiing and snowboarding in a controlled and responsible manner – as the primary safety consideration for all skiers and boarders. A skier’s behavior has as much or more to do with the safety of the sport as does any piece of equipment.
We hope you can join us for our on-site events and also on the Brundage Blog at brundage.com/media/blog/ as we explore safety topics throughout the month of January!
