COVID-19 Closure FAQ
Are you allowing uphill travel?
Uphill Travel is now closed at Brundage Mountain as of 3-25-2020. Brundage Mountain and the U.S. Forest Service are suspending uphill access to Forest Service lands operated under permit by Brundage Mountain. This is in concert with Governor Brad Little’s statewide stay-at-home order, issued 3-25-2020. That order is in effect at least through April 15, 2020.
These actions have been taken based on the best available CDC guidelines to promote social distancing as Idaho has now seen community spread of COVID-19.
Additionally, Adams County reminds the patrons of public lands that parking on county roads is prohibited.
The permitted area of Brundage Mountain is closed to motorized use 12 months a year, whether the resort is in operation or not, under the Special Use Permit issued by the Forest Service.
2019-2020 Season Passes:
We share your disappointment that the season came to an unexpected early close. We recognize that we all missed roughly 3 ½ weeks of late season access and we want to provide some value in the form of opportunities to visit Brundage Mountain in the future.
Please remember that 2019-2020 Brundage Mountain Season Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be rolled over.
Brundage Mountain does not guarantee the holder opening and closing dates of the ski lift operating season, nor a continuous daily operation of all lifts throughout the season.
HOWEVER, due to the unprecedented nature of this season’s closure, we are offering the following to our 19-20 Season Passholders:
Each 2019-20 Winter Season passholder is eligible for ONE of the following:
- One 2020 Summer Mountain Bike Park pass
- One transferable lift ticket in a matching pass category (Adult, Young Adult, Teen, Junior, Mid-week, etc…) valid from opening of the 2020-2021 winter season through December 25, 2020 and valid January 1, 2021 through January 15, 2021. Not valid December 26, 2020 through December 31, 2020 or after January 15, 2021.
Lift tickets issued will line up with your existing season pass category – ie. Adult Season Passes will include an Adult full-day lift ticket, Junior Season Passes will include a Junior full-day lift ticket. Complimentary season passes from donations or resort partners are not eligible for extension.
