'Light Up the Night' with us This Saturday!

12/24/15

LightUpLow5Brundage Mountain’s annual Light Up the Night celebration is set for this Saturday, December 26th. The light show kicks off at dusk with the ever-popular Torchlight Parade followed by a spectacular slope-side fireworks show. But the merriment begins even earlier with the traditional bonfire/beer garden festivities. Guests are invited to strip down their trees and add them to the sacrificial fire.

Live music will fill the mountain air in two locations this year. Hotter Water will play under the big tent on the Plaza Level. Local band, Solstice, will entertain guests on the third floor of the lodge. A new feature of this year’s event will be a fun ‘family zone’ on the top floor of the lodge, featuring face painting, cookie decorating and more.

Brundage Mountain has logged 15 straight days with fresh snow and has seen nearly TEN FEET of snow fall in the base area during the month of December. Slope conditions are some of the best in recent memory, and Saturday’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies. That means skiers and riders are likely to enjoy a ‘bluebird’ powder day before Saturday’s ‘Light Up the Night’ celebration.
