New RFID Cards for 2023/24

In an effort to continually improve your experience, Brundage Mountain has a new online store for the current season pass sale, which will be in use for all products by next season. We believe this will be a significant improvement for all of our guests.

RFID Passes In Use Next Season

Brundage Mountain will be making the switch to RFID pass and tickets cards for the 2023/24 season. This change will make accessing the lifts a little easier as well as easier redemption of rental, lesson, and other products purchased around the mountain.

What This Means for You:

New Login-In Required

With the switch to a new online store, all passholders and guests will be required to create a new account. No accounts from the previous store will be transferred over. When you go to purchase your pass, you will be prompted to set this up.

New Password

Along with a new account, all purchasers will be required to choose a new password. Your current password will no longer work.

New Image Required

New pass images will be required for all passholders next year. No current images will be able to be used. We will require updated photos every season moving forward.

About Your New RFID Card

Future purchases can be loaded onto your reusable BRUNDAGE MOUNTAIN card using RFID technology.

Those purchasing season passes during the first phase of the 2023/24 Season Pass Sale will receive a FREE RFID Card. Those making purchases after March 20 will want to be sure to purchase one RFID card for each guest. (Cards are $5 each).

All user information is stored securely, strictly private and is not accessible to other users or employees without permission.

RFID FAQ:

Do’s and Don’t

  • Do place your Brundage Mountain Card in a secure pant or jacket pocket, away from wallet, phone, or headphones.
  • Do save your card to reload tickets for future visits.
  • Don’t place the Brundage Mountain Card next to your wallet, phone or other RFID cards.
  • Don’t bend or punch holes in your RFID card.

What is RFID?

  • RFID stands for Radio-Frequency IDentification. A circuit is integrated into your lift ticket or season pass.

Why is Brundage Mountain using RFID?

  • It saves time, money, and makes accessing the mountain much easier by eliminating the need for guests to wait in line at a ticket window.

How is the pass scanned?

  • Lift operators and ticket checkers will have a scanner, outfitted with information screen, which they will point towards where the RFID card is located on a person.

Where should the pass be located?

  • The RFID card should be placed away from anything that will block it or hide it. Guests should keep it in an easily accessed pocket, without any phone, wallet, or keys near it.

Can RFID be used to access personal information?

  • No. Each RFID card contains a unique multi-digit code associated with the guest profile. The number on the pass is your account number and a password is needed to access your information.

Are there health and safety concerns associated with using RFID?

  • No. RFID technology does not radiate any radio-frequency, but instead reflects it.

Can the RFID card be replaced?

  • Yes. RFID cards can be replaced for $5. Once replaced, the old card is deactivated automatically and cannot be reused.
