DESCRIPTION:Brundage Mountain’s grassy\, green base-area amphitheater provides plenty of room to spread out while you enjoy the fresh air and sounds of summer! \nOn the Stage: Daniel rodriguez\nThe band takes the stage at 6 pm. \nAfter Elephant Revival disbanded in 2018 after playing their lasts how to a sold out Red Rocks\, Daniel Rodriguez set out as a solo artist. \n“Daniel cements himself as a solo performer with forth coming album Sojourn of a Burning Sun.”-ROLLING STONE \nDaniel released his debut collection of songs as an EP titled Your Heart\, The Stars\, The Milky Way on February 15\, 2019. His debut full-length album\, Sojourn of a Burning Sun\, was released on August28th\, 2020 on BMG Records. Both albums\, produced by longtime friend and bandmate\, Darren Garvey. \nThe Lumineers recorded and released Daniel’s song “This Is Life” after adding the words “Merry Christmas” to the chorus\, turning it into an instant dark humored Christmas classic. “This is Life (Merry Christmas)” feat. Daniel Rodriguez was released in December of 2021. \nRodriguez and his band supported The Lumineers on their BRIGHTSIDE World Tour in July and August of 2022\, playing to sold out arenas and stadiums across North America\, with a special homecoming show in front of 40\,000 fans in Denver\, Colorado. DESCRIPTION:Cat Track 10K Run: Runners will ascend 3.1 miles\, gaining 1\,640″ in elevation to the breathtaking summit of Brundage Mountain via the Cat Track. Enjoy 360-degree views of Payette Lake & the McCall area\, The 7 Devils Mountains\, Granite Peak\, Slab Butte and the Wallowa Mountain Range of Oregon. Runners will then turn around at \n \n the Aid-Station next to the top terminal of the BlueBird Express and descend the same route for a total of 6.2 miles. Bring along your family and friends to enjoy a chair lift ride to the summit to cheer you on! \nThe DOWNHILL Cat Track 5K run: Enjoy the views from the Bluebird Express as you ride the chairlift to the summit! The race starts from there at 10:15am. Runners head downhill for 3.1 miles (descending 1640″) along the Cat Track to the finish line. This will be an enjoyable and scenic race for those who want to try mountain running or bring the kiddos up for a fun 5K! \nRegister Online\nBe sure to stick around for the post-race party\, and awards on the plaza. DESCRIPTION:MOTORIZED Avalanche Science ASG2 (old REC1+) – Jan 19-21\, 2024 at McCall\nAvalanche Science REC1+ course includes 3 field days\, 4 hours of interactive classroom\, and 8 hours of online material. \nThe REC1+ course includes Avalanche Level 1 and the Rescue modules. \nPrerequisite: \nOwn and know how to operate a snowmobile or snow-bike. \nPre-course material: \n2-hour online \nCourse Format: \n3 days of fieldwork and backcountry ski touring at Brundage Mountain Resort. \n4-hour interactive classroom session with an instructor. \n8-hours online video and multimedia material. \nLearning Outcomes for REC1+ Module: \n\nGain an understanding of snow science: snow metamorphism and slab avalanche fracture mechanics. Anticipate the impact of weather in the snowpack. Track precipitation\, wind\, and temperature critical thresholds driving avalanche instability.\nMake relevant weather\, weather\, and avalanche observations. Target observations relevant to the avalanche problem of the day.\nFamiliarity with CAA OGRS / AAA SWAG. Competency with ATES frameworks. Awareness of CMAH.\nRecognize avalanche terrain and the role of slope angles. Brundage Mountain recently formed the Brundage Mountain Community Fund in order to amplify the resort’s existing efforts to support area non-profits. \nThe first fundraising event for the new fund is the auction of five of the triple chair carriers removed during the dismantling of the Centennial Triple Chairlift last spring. SUMMARY:Light Up The Night: New Year's Eve Celebration!
DESCRIPTION:Light up the Night will feature a Torchlight Parade\, slope-side Fireworks Show\, and Kids Glowstick walking parade. As the chairlifts close\, you can stay warm around the plaza-level fire pit. There is plenty of room on our balconies and expansive base area to enjoy the show. The festivities and fireworks are free. Please be sure to dress for winter mountain weather conditions! \nAglow on the Snow Parade\nKids must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  Kids and parents will meet inside the Mountain Sport School facility of the new MAC building (enter next to the base of the Bluebird Express)\, by 5:15 pm.  This year we have almost 300 LED foam wands and 2000+ glow sticks! The parade will make its way to Smoky’s\, then outside on the decks and wind its way down to the viewing area for fireworks show.  To register for this event\, please follow the link to the waiver for the “Aglow On the Snow Parade” and sign your youngsters up. If your child has a Brundage Season Pass or a day ticket for 12/31/2023 you do not need to sign a waiver.  \nRegister for the Aglow on the snow Kids Parade Here \nTorchlight Parade\nAdvanced skiers and snowboarders ages 16 and over are invited to participate in the torchlight parade. To register for the torchlight parade you must fill out a waiver in advance. Once a waiver has been filled out\, you will be informed that you are registered via email. Participants are required to wear goggles for eye protection from potential sparks. Clear or very light lenses are recommended.  All participants must check in at the base of the Bluebird Lift\, no later than 5:15 pm or risk not being able to participate in the parade. DESCRIPTION:Brundage Blastoff 2024\nWe are proud to bring Idaho Interscholastic Cycling to the Brundage Mountain Bike Park and host the first race of the season\, the Blastoff at Brundage! \nPlease note:  There will be NO BIKE HAULS on the BlueBird Express on Saturday\, August 17th and ALL trails will be closed. The BlueBird Express WILL be open for scenic chairlift rides from 10 am – 4:30 pm and all other resort services are available. Normal lift and trail access resumes Sunday\, August 18th. \nThe Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League is part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association was founded in 2014 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) Project League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). They facilitate the development of high school and middle school teams/clubs for grades 6-12 and provide the education\, training\, licensing and insurance for coaches and volunteers.  They also produce high-quality mountain bike events and races that emphasize the value of participation\, camaraderie\, positive sporting behavior and well-being over competition. \n  \n

(Please note: No outside food or beverage is allowed in the concert venue.) \nOn the Stage: High Street Band\nThe High Street Band takes the stage at 6 pm. \nHeadlining National Festivals for the PGA Tour and more.. in all 50 States as well as Cruise Lines in the Caribbean!  \nFood & Refreshments:\nAn outdoor bar and food trailer will be conveniently located at the concert venue. For those looking for a full meal\, Smoky’s Bar & Grill will offer extended hours with full menu offerings. DESCRIPTION:Take your yoga practice to new heights with yoga on the mountain\, a FREE outdoor yoga experience. \nThis summer our instructor will be none other that the SNOWGA pioneer\, Julie Whitescarver.  Julie will be our guide through a cycle of poses to boost your strength\, posture\, relaxation\, and inspiration for your next adventure. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat\, there is plenty of room to spread out in the grassy base area. \nEVERY WEDNESDAY from June 28th through August 30st – 11 am – Noon. You can treat yourself to a full day of fun with yoga class\, lunch on the deck at Smoky’s\, mountain biking\, hiking and disc golf. \n \n  \n
