DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar for our annual Rec Fair & Food Drive!  Last year\, we collected nearly 400 cans of donated food for the Heartland Hunger Resource Center and McCall Food Bank.   And since anyone who donates a can of food or non-perishable food item will earn a free lift ride\, with your help we think we can beat that number this year! \nLocal shops and outdoor recreation groups will be on site to share summer fun ideas and gear information and demos. \nWe’re also holding a HUGE raffle sponsored by Giant Bikes and our local retail partners. Each person who donates a can of food or $1 will receive a raffle ticket. Additional tickets may be purchased for $1 each. All items will be raffled off at Smoky’s Bar & Grill deck at 2 pm (including the grand prize drawing for a giant swag bag & a 2016 summer season pass). Participants must be present to win.

Come visit their education table with giveaways on the 3rd floor of the lodge 10 am-2 pm.  While you are upstairs\, remember to sign up for free chair massages by volunteers from Unwind Body Spa.  These talented ladies will be working their magic from 12:30-3:30 pm but spaces fill quickly so sign up early! \n \n11:30-1:30 pm Learn the basics of photography with an on-mountain photography workshop by local photographer\, Pam Benham.  Bring a camera or learn to use your cell phone to capture action shots and outdoor portraits as we document Diva Day being “on-ski” photographers. Meet at the base area special event tent but plan on skiing the mountain with Pam! \n  \n  \n  \nWe invite you to take a break from the slopes and join Julie from Shanti Yoga for a fun\, on-snow yoga session at 12:30. No experience necessary; come as you are ski boots and all! \n \nCome show off your pink at the 2 pm on-snow Costume Contest\, then continue the festivities with the Hula Hoop Challenge. \nSmoky’s will offer Diva Day drink specials like;  Pink Panty Dropper\, Brundage Punch and Oh La La\, all day!  $1 from each drink special purchased will be donated to the Susan G. Komen  Foundation \nWrap up the day in Smoky’s Bar and Grill where we feature local music diva Rebecca Scott and Her Happy Hour.  Each woman who attends happy hour will be entered into a drawing for free\, BUT\, each dollar donated to Susan G.Komen will earn an additional ticket.  The more you give\, the better your chances to win! DESCRIPTION:Brundage Mountain invites you to join us Saturday\, December 26 for our annual Light Up the Night celebration. \nThis year’s holiday party will feature a Torchlight Parade\, slope-side Fireworks Show\, live music\, beer tents and family friendly festivities in the lodge at the “Family Zone”. \nHere’s a schedule of our key Light Up the Night events:\n3:30 pm – Family Zone Activities begin on third floor of the lodge. Bring your kids up for cookie decorating\, face painting and family-friendly music from “Solstice”. (3:30 – 5:30) \n4:00 pm – Bonfire lights up in the base area – feel free to strip down your tree and add it to our sacrificial bonfire \n4:30 pm – Live music from “HotterWater” in the base area. (4:30 – 7:30) \n4:30 pm – Continuous shuttle service from the lower parking lot begins. \n5:30 pm – (or dusk) – Torchlight Parade begins\, followed immediately by our slope-side Fireworks show. \n7:00 pm – Brundage Express Shuttles first runs depart for McCall \n7:30 pm – Shuttle service to lower lot concludes \n8:00 pm – Brundage Express Shuttles second runs depart for McCall \nMore info:\nBring the kids to the 3rd floor of the lodge 3:30-5:30 pm for face painting\, cookie decorating and more.  Hot drinks and grab and go meals and snacks will be available at our Main Street Market and Eatery\, and the Side Stash Cafe’ will be pouring beer and wine alongside their specialty coffee drinks\, with additional food choices for hungry kids and adults alike.  Local band\, Solstice\, will set up in the “Family Zone” entertaining the young and young at heart with their kid centered tunes\, 3:30-5:30. \nAs the lifts close\,  we’ll fire up our gas fire pit and propane heaters at the base area plaza to warm party goers as they sip hot chocolate\, cider or beer and wine\, all available at the Brundage tent. HotterWater will be rocking under the big white base area tent\, 4:30-7:30. Self described as specializing in “upbeat rockabilly/bluegrass/country” music\, HotterWater is a local favorite. Click here for a sample of their latest gig. \nThe festivities and fireworks are free\, and there will be plenty of standing room to watch the light show in the base area\, on outdoor balconies or our new plaza. Feel free to bring a lawn chair if you’d like to relax during the light show and please dress for winter mountain weather conditions! \nSmoky’s Bar & Grill will be open late with a limited menu and seating preference will go to those who are dining and purchasing drinks. \nRemember\, our lower lot has plenty of room for parking and we will run two shuttles between the lower lot and the lodge\, 4:30-7:30 for your convenience.  Or avoid parking altogether and enjoy a free ride on our Brundage Express.  We have added two additional runs leaving the mountain at 7 and 8 pm for this special event. \nOur torchlight parade has reached capacity; thanks to all who signed up early! \n  \n
