(Please note: No outside food or beverage is allowed in the concert venue.) \nOn the Stage: Hillfolk Noir\nHillfolk Noir takes the stage at 6pm \n \n\nGrab a drink\, sit down\, take a breath\, have a listen for a moment\, an hour\, a night\, because here they come with their\nearnest musical narratives of the back alleys\, the open range\, the hollow\, the front porch\, the lives behind the love\, want\, fear and fracture of a world that despite all adversity remains\, within their songs\, hopeful\, thoughtful\, jubilant.\nThe band deems their sound Junkerdash – part folk\, part bluegrass\, part string-band blues\, part punk\, and most certainly wholly kickass. Bourbon and the Western Swing are a recommended pairing with Hillfolk’s Junkerdash\, we’re told\, which seems spot-on. DESCRIPTION:10th Annual McCall Trailrunning Classic\nMcCALL TRAILRUNNING CLASSIC \n10th EDITION: SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER \n  \nTO REGISTER visit: McCall Trailrunning Classic – July 17\, 2021 (ultrasignup.com) \n  \nFor more info visit: mccalltrailrunningclassic.com \n  \n  \n2021 McCLASSIC RACE INFO:  The 10th Annual McCall Trailrunning Classic will be held on the EVENING of Saturday July 17th\, 2021 at Brundage Mountain Resort\, featuring 3 distances: 26+ mile Marathon\, 13 mile Half Marathon\, and a 10K.  All courses are created and marked by Race Director Jeremy Humphrey. The Marathon will start at 4PM and will be 3 distinct loops climbing to Brundage’s top and using almost every inch of Brundage’s spectacular trail network. The Half marathon will start at 5pm and will be 1 big loop (first loop of Marathon)\, the 10K will start at 5:30pm and will be 1 smaller loop (2nd loop of Marathon). All races will start and finish at the Lower Parking Lot at Brundage Mountain Resort. No capacity limit on entrants.  Because there is a reasonable likelihood of finishing in the dark (marathoners only) you will need a headlamp for the final leg of the race\, and we reserve the right to add additional mandatory gear such as a jacket if the weather is threatening. These are technical and rough mountain races combining brutal off trail travel and buttery smooth singletrack trails in the tradition of the McCall racing scene. \n  \nCOVID: We expect COVID-19 to still be an issue in July\, so be ready to pull off all the stops to make the race go. We reserve the right to ask all runners and their guests to do temp checks\, facial coverings any time you are near others (aid stations\, start\, finish\, when running near others)\, etc. We will communicate our race rules as the race draws nearer and we can assess the current virus situation. \n  \nRegister for the July 4th Cat Track 5K/10K and get 15% off your McCall Trailrunning Classic entry. \n  \nQOM/KOM: The best combined time (both Female and Male) for the July 4th Cat Track 10K and the July 17th McCall Trailrunning Classic Marathon will take home a nice cash prize of $200 each and will earn the titles “Queen of the Mountain” and “King of the Mountain.” \n  \nJoin us at Brundage Mountain to continue the McClassic tradition

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Wild Skills Adventure at Brundage Mountain! SheJumps Wild Skills Adventures are open community events where parents/chaperones participate with the girls. Throughout the adventure\, girls are introduced to a range of outdoor skills which include navigation\, leave no trace\, 10 essentials\, and more. We strive to engage all generations in the sharing of knowledge and understanding. Connecting experience\, energy and love for our natural places with the technical and survival skills girls need to get out and adventure. \nSchedule for the Day\nOn the day of the event\, you’ll register and get your Wild Skills Journal which will help you learn throughout the event. You start the day at the base area with a ‘gear check’ to make sure you brought your 10 Essentials and a review of  Leave No Trace fundamentals. \nAt 9:30\, we’ll have a morning safety meeting.  From there we’ll break into two groups and make our way on the hiking trails and some first aid basic. We’ll stop for lunch around 12:00 and wrap up the event by 2:00pm. This experience will allow girls and their families to put to practice areas of our Wild Skills curriculum including navigation\, first aid\, plant identification\, and more.  We will end our day with a presentation from the Payette National Forest Discovery Agents. This is a gently rolling trail\, which takes about a half an hour to complete at a moderate pace.  In addition to beautiful views of the Goose Creek drainage\, you’ll see peek-a-boo views of the Brundage ski slopes. There are a few nice places to ‘pull off’ and rest for a while\, including a beautiful new ‘selfie bench’ at the big mossy tree. \nHidden Valley Overlook. From the top of the Bluebird Express\, turn left (North) and look for the trailhead sign just beyond the Ski Patrol HQ Cabin. This short trail (.3 miles each way) is a short hike with huge rewards.
