  • Motorized Vehicles: Expect to encounter motorized vehicles on roads and trails and ensure you’re visible. It is your responsibility to avoid motorized traffic.
  • DO NOT trespass on private land.

Uphill Travel Rules

  • Uphill travel is allowed in single file, sharing one common track.
  • Turn around by 9:00 AM SHARP.
  • When descending, stay off all the groomed runs between North and Alpine.
  • Terrain north of North is off-limits due to avalanche control.
  • No patrol services are available outside operational hours. In an emergency, call 911.

Uphill Routes:

Looking uphill, use only the left groomed edge of these runs

  • Lower/Upper Rodeo
  • North
  • Lower/Upper Alpine
  • Main Street

Sargent’s Access Information

  • Do not use the North Boundary Trail for travel uphill.
  • Do not enter into the ski area “patrolled boundary” from Sargent’s Access.
  • Terrain outside the patrolled boundary is considered backcountry, but within the Brundage special use permit area. Avalanche mitigation and terrain assessments are not conducted, and conditions can change quickly.
  • Never enter backcountry terrain alone. Be fully prepared with appropriate gear, knowledge of self-rescue, and backcountry safety.
  • Rescue may be difficult in this terrain. Patrol services are not available. In case of emergency, call 911.

Off-Season Access:

  • Park in the north rows of the Upper Main lot. Centennial lot is off-limits.
