(Sign up and fill out a waiver at the Event Tent\, Plaza Level by 12:30 pm) \nWinning prize for the Pond Skimming Champ is a 2016/2017 Brundage Season Pass! \nHow to win: \nA grand champion will be selected based on the number of rounds they can ‘survive’ the pond (get to the end and exit without falling) and on style points throughout the competition. ‘Style’ can be a combination of what you wear and your overall coolness while skimming.  Those who make it to the third and final round will compete in a “skim off”.  Judges will chose the grand champion winner from these contestants.

DESCRIPTION:Tubapalooza is back!  Join us at the McCall Activity Barn for a fun-filled competition on the tubing slopes.  Prizes for Design and Distance of a homemade\, person powered\, non-coated corrugated cardboard sled capable of withstanding the descent. \nThis is a fundraising event for the Brundage Mountain Lifetime Sports Program.  Your $5 registration fee will help introduce local school kids to the sports of alpine skiing and snowboarding. \nHow creative can you be using only non-coated corrugated cardboard\, tape\, glue\, paint and other decorations? \nPrizes will be awarded for: \n\nMost Creative Design – Prize: a 2016/17 Brundage Mountain Winter Season Pass!\nLongest Distance Traveled from Start Line – Prize: a 2016/17 Brundage Mountain Winter Season Pass!\nMost Spirited Cheer Team – Prize: a 2016/17 Activity Barn Season Pass\nBest Costume – Prize: a 2016/17 Activity Barn Season Pass\nBiggest Team –  – Prize: a 2016/17 Activity Barn Season Pass\n\nRegistration begins at 4 pm\, contests and downhill competition at 5 pm. Snacks\, beer\, wine and sodas are available for purchase. \nSo\, get your team together and start designing your sled for this fun-filled night at the Barn! \nDesign and participation guidelines: \nConstruction: \n\nYour sled must pass inspection to be allowed on the hill. Any sled deemed unsafe by Activity Barn staff will be disqualified.\nOnly corrugated cardboard may be used in construction of sled. All sleds must be a maximum of 4 feet wide\, with a maximum of 2 human riders.\nTape and glue may be used to hold your sled together but may not be used on surfaces in contact with the snow.\nThe entire surface in contact with the run must be corrugated cardboard only. No duct tape\, plastic\, paint\, wax\, etc. is allowed on any surface in contact with snow.\nYou must be able to stop your sled. Keep this important feature in mind during the design phase; you will be asked to demonstrate ability to stop your sled.\nPaint\, decorations\, logos\, costumes and etc. are encouraged.\n\n  \nParticipation: \n\nHelmets are mandatory.\nThe Cheer Team for each sled can be unlimited\, the more the merrier!\nTo qualify as a finisher\, you must be in or on your sled rather than chasing it or being chased by it as you cross the finish line.\nAll participants must have read and understood the rules and signed our liability release form.

DESCRIPTION:An afternoon ski program for pre-k and kindergarten-age children\, Kinder Bears Mid-Week features super small classes\, with an average of 2 kiddos per instructor. \nTaught by a small group of specialized instructors\, students are carefully paired to ensure a consistent and comfortable experience. Lessons use a combination of learning games to build skills for a lifetime of skiing. \nOffered in sessions* on Mondays and Thursdays for little skiers of all abilities\, age 3 (potty trained) to 6 years. \n\nAn affordable multi-week program to build lifetime skiers.\n4-week sessions begin on January 11\, February 8\, March 7.

Komen Foundation. \nOur friends from Komen Idaho/Montana will be giving away lots of fabulous gifts\, pink bead necklaces\, and four grand prizes to those who can find the pink ribbons hidden around the mountain! Come visit their education table with giveaways on the 3rd floor of the lodge 10 am-2 pm.  While you are upstairs\, remember to sign up for free chair massages by volunteers from Unwind Body Spa.  These talented ladies will be working their magic from 12:30-3:30 pm but spaces fill quickly so sign up early! \n \n11:30-1:30 pm Learn the basics of photography with an on-mountain photography workshop by local photographer\, Pam Benham.  Bring a camera or learn to use your cell phone to capture action shots and outdoor portraits as we document Diva Day being “on-ski” photographers. Meet at the base area special event tent but plan on skiing the mountain with Pam! \n  \n  \n  \nWe invite you to take a break from the slopes and join Julie from Shanti Yoga for a fun\, on-snow yoga session at 12:30. No experience necessary; come as you are ski boots and all! \n \nCome show off your pink at the 2 pm on-snow Costume Contest\, then continue the festivities with the Hula Hoop Challenge. \nSmoky’s will offer Diva Day drink specials like;  Pink Panty Dropper\, Brundage Punch and Oh La La\, all day!  $1 from each drink special purchased will be donated to the Susan G. Komen  Foundation \nWrap up the day in Smoky’s Bar and Grill where we feature local music diva Rebecca Scott and Her Happy Hour.  Each woman who attends happy hour will be entered into a drawing for free\, BUT\, each dollar donated to Susan G.Komen will earn an additional ticket.  The more you give\, the better your chances to win!
